This full-time Estate Planning and Estate Administration Attorney position is an on-site role located in Springfield, MA. The attorney will provide legal advice and services in estate planning, probate, and estate administration, Mass Health planning, guardian ships and conservatorship petitions, and advice with respect to other fiduciary services. Key responsibilities include drafting estate planning documents, assisting clients with probate matters, working with peers in our corporate group in developing succession plans, and offering legal guidance tailored to the unique needs of clients.
The role requires collaboration with other attorneys in the firm (we are a team!) and clients to ensure their objectives are met with professionalism and care.
- Knowledge, experience, and a love for Estate Planning, Estate Law, and Succession Planning
- A passion for Probate and Estate Administration processes
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills relevant to handling complex estate matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting client relationships, and the ability to work with peers from our corporate, real estate, or litigation departments when cases feature a "hybrid" element
- Active license to practice law in Massachusetts
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Prior experience in estate planning or relevant legal field is highly beneficial
