California Licensed M&A Legal Director

A company is looking for a Director, M&A Legal Affairs.

Key Responsibilities Provide legal support and advice on all aspects of M&A transactions, including deal structuring and post-closing integration Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements Conduct and oversee due diligence on potential acquisitions, focusing on contracts and intellectual property rights

Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the relevant state bar 5+ years of legal experience with a focus on M&A transactions and entertainment/music law Prior experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house counsel role, preferably in the music industry Knowledge of music licensing, publishing, and distribution rights
