• Lead, train, and manage maintenance staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure staff adherence to facility policies, safety protocols, and SOPs.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for medical and non‑medical equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, and other healthcare regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Monitor building systems, utilities, and equipment performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades with contractors and vendors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and compliance audits for management review.
• Assist in planning and managing the maintenance budget, including procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Optimize the use of resources and ensure cost‑effective maintenance operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems).
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment.
• Ability to access confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights as needed.

• Healthcare facility environment, including patient care areas.
• May require occasional evening, weekend, or on‑call work for emergencies.
