Nexstar Media Group, Inc., the nation’s largest television owner/operator group is seeking a Vice President, Broadcast Hub Services. This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Operations. The Vice President of Broadcast Hub Services is a senior operational and strategic leader responsible for managing Nexstar Media Group’s Master Control Hubs—the operational backbone of the nation’s largest local broadcast company. This executive oversees large‑scale technical operations, ensures regulatory compliance, directs a national team, and guides strategic investments that advance Nexstar’s broadcast and transmission capabilities across five time zones.

This role requires deep operational expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex, fast‑paced, 24/7 broadcast environments. The Vice President will champion operational excellence, technology innovation, and strong vendor partnerships to ensure reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all Hub Services, including six designated Hub locations and managing our relationship with Encompass Digital Media.

This position will be based at one of our Hub locations:
Dallas, Indianapolis, Denver, Springfield (Massachusetts), or Spartanburg (South Carolina).
** Key Responsibilities
**** Operational Leadership
*** Manage Master Control Operations supporting Nexstar Media Group’s extensive portfolio of local broadcast stations, multicast networks, News Nation as well as The CW Network.
* Provide oversight and strategic direction to ensure all FCC regulations and broadcast standards are consistently met.
* Support 24/7 operations across five time zones, remaining available as needed for urgent or time‑sensitive issues.
* Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to secure favorable pricing, reliable support, and long-term partnership value.
** People Leadership
*** Lead, mentor, and develop a staff of more than
** 330 employees**, including senior-level managers.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Approve all HR-related transactions within Broadcast Hub Services, including hiring, performance management, and staffing changes.
* Provide input on labor relations matters as needed.
** Financial & Capital Management
*** Plan and manage the
** consolidated operational expense budget
** for Broadcast Hub Services, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.

** for Hub Services.
* Approve all Hub Services purchases, invoices, and capital expenditure requests.
* Provide guidance to station chief engineers on capital projects related to master control operations.
** Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
*** Consult with Regional Vice Presidents and Station General Managers regarding initiatives requiring Hub Services support.
* Manage and maintain Nexstar’s business relationship with
