- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Youth Center, ensuring that all Youth Programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
- Represents Youth Programs with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- Responsible for the financial operation of the Youth Programs, the facilities, grounds, equipment, health and safety.
- Ensures program meets established financial goals.

- The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Incumbent must possess and be able to maintain an appropriate, valid driver’s license. An annual driving record check is required
- Must complete additional training requirements as specified by program guidance and Flight Chief. Training may be conducted during weekend and evening hours
- Physical exertion required such as climbing steps and lifting up to 25 pounds

Degree: that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.

SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in applying the professional knowledge of youth and teen development principles, practices, and techniques across various developmental stages. This includes planning, organizing, and directing youth program functions, as well as mentoring, motivating, and appraising staff.
Experience also covers financial, budget, and resource management in accordance with Air Force policies. This is coupled with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to promote programs, train staff, and resolve problems.
