  • Lead value stream mapping efforts to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities tied to measurable results.
  • Support implementation of connected manufacturing technologies and ensure accurate data signals from capable equipment.
  • Provide recommendations and analysis for capital investments, including return on investment and implementation support.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing layouts, work cells, and material flow using data-driven methods.
  • Serve as a technical resource for complex production challenges related to efficiency, flow, or capacity limits.
  • Support new product introductions through labor modeling, capacity planning, documentation, and training preparation.
  • Develop analytical tools, templates, and visual management systems to support decision-making and standardization.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement events, ensuring execution and sustainability of outcomes.
  • Capture undocumented knowledge and convert it into standardized procedures.
  • Conduct time studies, process analysis, and contribute to ergonomic and safety evaluations.
  • Maintain labor standards used for costing, quoting, and long-range planning.
  • Train and mentor team members and contribute to development of the industrial engineering function.
  • Collaborate with leadership on future manufacturing strategies, including automation and workforce planning.
