A Springfield-based plating facility is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as platers, rackers, maskers, and additional roles. We welcome applicants with a background in metal finishing, chemical manufacturing, or plating processes for these full-time, temp-to-hire positions.
Core Responsibilities
- Prior experience with chemical processing or plating is considered an advantage.
- Ensure products are racked precisely by following established specifications to help maintain high production standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret verbal or written directions and perform fundamental mathematical calculations.
- Check product quality during the racking process and notify your supervisor of any identified defects.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping your workspace tidy and following all safety protocols.
- Work alongside colleagues to meet production targets and contribute to smoother operational workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A background in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is helpful, though not mandatory.
- Show consistency in following safety guidelines and operational instructions.
- Maintain a high level of precision to support our quality control efforts.
- Must be comfortable working in warm or humid conditions, managing chemical odors, and have no chemical sensitivities.
- Must successfully complete a drug screening.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Platers, Packers, Maskers, Rackers, Anodizers, and 2nd shift Inspectors. Our standard schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with alternating Saturdays from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on your specific role and relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following area:
