Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Analytics to lead our client’s analytics team and reinforce data‑driven decision‑making within their marketing division. The successful candidate will devise and implement a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy, manage a high‑performing team, and deliver actionable insights to optimize marketing endeavors. Target salary is 170K with some flex depending on experience plus bonus and RSUs.

This is a hybrid position in Greater Boston requiring 2‑3 days a week onsite depending on location.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with various functions and senior marketing leadership to support marketing goals with robust analysis.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of marketing analysts, promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy aligned with overall business goals.
  • Design analytics frameworks to capture, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing channels.
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions.
  • Identify and implement new methodologies to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Keep abreast of the latest marketing analytics trends, seeking opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing programs.
  • Advocate for data‑driven decision‑making throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing research, or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of marketing analysts.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing analytics methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with marketing attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytics tools like Azure, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Collaborative and result‑oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
