About the Opportunity

This Account Director will serve as the primary point of contact for a new rare disease client currently in the pre‑launch phase. The work is heavily focused on both HCP and DTC initiatives, including disease state education, website updates, CRM programs, KOL engagement, and other key launch preparation activities.

The ideal candidate will be onboarded immediately to become immersed in the business ahead of a significant increase in workload beginning in mid‑July. The agency is seeking someone who is invested in the account's success and interested in supporting the business long term.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day client contact and strategic partner
  • Lead client communications and manage account deliverables across multiple work streams
  • Oversee pre‑launch initiatives, including disease state education, website updates, CRM programs, and KOL engagement
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with client objectives
  • Support agency growth efforts as the team prepares to pitch for AOR status in October
Requirements
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
  • Strong HCP and DTC experience
  • Proven ability to lead client relationships and manage complex account initiatives
  • Ability to start ASAP
  • Comfortable traveling to Boston as needed
  • Thrives in a smaller agency environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats
  • Energetic, proactive, and eager to be hands‑on with the business
  • Committed to building strong client relationships and supporting long‑term account growth
Why Apply?
  • Opportunity to lead a high‑profile rare disease account during a critical pre‑launch phase
  • Significant client‑facing ownership and visibility
  • Potential for contract extension or full‑time conversion based on business needs and performance
  • Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial agency environment with strong growth potential

Only candidates with previous pharmaceutical advertising agency experience will be considered for this position.
