About the Role:Lead end‑to‑end brand activation on the ground, from strategic foundation through to full market execution. This is a senior role for a hands‑on brand leader who understands how great brands are built: from the development of a creative platform and messaging architecture, through agency partnerships, media strategy, and full go‑to‑market activation. Serving as the senior local extension of the Global Brand Team, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Branding.
They will be the key strategic bridge between the global brand vision and its local execution — owning the activation process, driving agency workflows, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects the brand with precision and impact.
- Act as the senior point of contact between the Europe-based global brand team and all US-based stakeholders — internal teams, agencies, media partners, and vendors
- Lead the local brand activation journey from creative platform development to go‑to‑market execution, ensuring strategic coherence at every stage
- Translate global brand strategy into a locally resonant activation plan — owning messaging, identity consistency, channel selection, and market positioning across the US
- Drive and manage agency relationships end-to‑end: brief development, creative platform alignment, production oversight, and media strategy coordination
- Oversee the full agency process — from creative concept and brand platform to media strategy, asset production, and campaign deployment — acting as the informed client‑side lead
- Support the organization and execution of brand launch activities, including rebranding rollout, communications, events, and local production
- Maintain a clear overview of all local work streams: activities, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and outstanding decisions
- Build and sustain strong relationships with local agencies, vendors, and key contacts, acting as the senior brand ambassador on the ground
- Ensure all local brand materials and activations are fully compliant with global brand guidelines and governance standards
- Proactively identify risks, misalignments, or market opportunities and bring clear, actionable recommendations to both the US and EU teams
- Provide the global brand team with reliable, structured visibility into local market progress, requirements, and emerging issues
- 8+ years of experience in brand management, brand activation, or integrated marketing communications
- Demonstrated experience leading brand launches or rebranding initiatives in the US market — from strategic foundation to go‑to‑market execution
- Deep understanding of the agency model: how creative platforms are developed, how media strategy is built, and how campaigns are produced and deployed
- Proven track record managing agency relationships as a senior client‑side partner — briefing, evaluating, and activating creative and media work
- Experience working in or with international/matrix organizations, ideally with European headquarters
- Background in B2B environments;
experience in life sciences
- Strong strategic thinking — able to connect brand vision to market reality and activation priorities
- Confident leading creative and media agency workflows, from briefing through to final delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to align diverse audiences across functions, cultures, and time zones
- Ability to interpret and convey complex brand strategy clearly to both senior stakeholders and execution teams
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy while remaining closely aligned with the global brand team
- Solid mastery of brand identity systems, messaging architecture, and visual guidelines
- Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously without losing sight of strategic priorities
