Way Finders is committed to advancing housing stability and economic mobility for low‑income individuals and families across Western Massachusetts. The Digital Navigator VISTA will help bridge the digital divide by building systems that expand access to devices, internet connectivity, and digital literacy skills. Individuals must have a commitment to serving communities experiencing poverty; strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple projects and comfort working with people from varied backgrounds and communities.
Strengthen community awareness of online resources related to employment, housing, education, and healthcare. The VISTA will also support a resident‑led Digital Access for All coalition to advance sustainable, community‑driven solutions.
The VISTA member will support the development of systems and materials for digital literacy and digital navigation programming. This includes developing systems to strengthen intake, presentations, surveys, and creating and maintaining systems for tracking outcomes. The VISTA will assist the Digital Access for All coalition and Way Finders Digital Equity Coordinator by supporting a digital access awareness campaign through community outreach and engagement activities.
The VISTA member will also help develop and revise training materials, assess resources, and identify potential collaborations. They will support coordination of partner meetings and collaborative communication systems and foster partnerships through researching successful models and best practices and recommend improvements or new programming.
