Position

We are seeking an Operations Volunteer Assistant to assist with administrative duties that help keep LLN’s internal processes running smoothly. These volunteers will work under the guidance of the Vice President of Operations and support the management of documentation, digital organization, board materials, and general operational tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, systems, and behind‑the‑scenes work that strengthens the foundation of a mission‑driven nonprofit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing operational documentation, including:
  • Conflict of Interest (COI) forms
  • Board onboarding packets and related materials
  • Internal process documents in Google Drive
  • Support the upkeep and structure of LLN’s Google Drive folders and shared assets.
  • Help with email communication related to administrative tasks, documentation collection, and follow‑ups.
  • Complete assigned operational tasks from the Vice President of Operations in a timely manner.
  • Assist with preparing materials for board onboarding and ongoing governance needs.
  • Participate in periodic operations check‑ins with the VP of Operations.
Requirements and Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms).
  • Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed‑upon deadlines.
  • Comfort with administrative duties and document management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prior experience in nonprofit operations or administration is helpful but not required.
