DEPARTMENT: Nursing
REPORTS TO: Sr. Administrator of Nursing
SALARY: School Nurse (RN) Salary Schedule
WORK SCHEDULE: To be arranged with Nursing Administration (In accordance with contract requirements).
DUTIES- Must have a current valid, license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Have three years of responsible professional experience in school nursing or a related field preferred.
- Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
- Must be DOE certified or certifiable by the Department of Education in educator category, Nurse, All Levels. (DOE certification eligibility currently requires a minimum of a BSN)
- No lifting, bending or twisting restrictions.
- This position requires the employee to be in an office or similar indoor environment. Requires ability to travel amongst Springfield public schools’ locations.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
