We are seeking an experienced Pain Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- 100% inpatient, consultative role focused on acute pain management. Provide inpatient consultative services for adult and pediatric patients experiencing acute pain.
- Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans, including medication management and procedural coordination. Collaborating closely with physicians, residents, and subspecialists.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (no call) with 6-week structured orientation
- Collaborative environment with dedicated attending physicians and anesthesiology residents
- Strong interdisciplinary support including surgical, addiction, and palliative care teams

Qualifications:
Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ACNP) or Physician Assistant. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care, pain management, or addiction medicine. Strong clinical decision-making and collaborative skills. Interest or experience in pain management and procedural care preferred.
Compensation:
The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
Salary range: $134,415 – $170,260
