Nurse Resident Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit

About the Role

Baystate Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Nurse Resident to join our Medicine Unit in Springfield, MA. This position provides the opportunity to care for patients with a variety of medical concerns and to develop expertise in nursing practice within an academic medical center.

• Springfield 3 is a medical surgical telemetry unit.
• The unit offers participation in nurse-driven change projects, great nursing ratios, and optimal support.
• The unit is a 30-bed unit with telemetry monitors.

• FT Nights 7 PM – 7 AM
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association health‑care provider CPR certification required.
• Experience:
  
  Less than 1 year RN experience.
• Diploma in Nursing (required).
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.

Base salary range for this role is $41.82 – $54.06 per hour, with a maximum of $66.30. The range reflects factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and related factors. Pay will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience and will not fall below the minimum of the range. Additional incentive payments may apply.
