Bring your passion for pediatrics to Baystate Children’s Hospital. We are a 107‑bed, 57‑bassinette hospital located within Baystate Medical Center. We are currently hiring skilled and compassionate nurses to work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

7‑bed Pediatric and Intensive Care Unit.

We are the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing advanced medical, surgical, and trauma care for infants, children, and young adults through age 21. Our PICU has been newly redesigned and has seven private rooms with glass doors to increase privacy while still allowing visual monitoring. Patients are monitored by state‑of‑the‑art heart and breathing equipment designed specifically for children.

Full‑time days, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Location:

Baystate Medical Center Springfield.

New Grad RN (0‑1 year of RN licensure): $41.00 per hour. Experienced RN (1+ years of RN licensure): $42.66–$65.00 per hour. Competitive shift differentials and allowance plans apply.

Additional compensation may include sign‑on bonus for external hires, as well as shift differentials and allowance plans.

• Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (BSN)

• Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (R.N.)

Base pay range considers knowledge/skills, experience, education, certifications, and organizational factors. Actual salaries may vary by position.

Base pay range: $41.82 – $54.06 – $66.30.
