CRNAs evaluate patients’ health history, manage and monitor airway, administer a personalized sedation plan tailored to the procedure, and supervise recovery.

AMSURG Anesthesia is seeking a Full Time CRNA to perform eye blocks at our Springfield, MA Center. The center is open Monday to Thursday, with no nights, call, or weekends. The center operates under a Care Team model.

• Perform eye blocks and assess patients for surgical procedures.
• Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases including ENT, pediatric (ages 6 months and up), orthopedics, pain, spine, podiatry, and plastic surgery.
• Manage patient’s airway and administer sedation plans tailored to each procedure.
• Supervise patient recovery and ensure post‑operative safety.

• Graduate of School of Nursing.
• RN with active, unrestricted state license (in appropriate state).
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a CRNA.
• Strong ethical and moral character.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with eye block procedures.
• Comfortable with ENT and pediatric cases.

• Professional Liability insurance covered for 1099 Anesthesia Providers.
