We are seeking an experienced Outcomes Nurse (RN) to support our post-cardiac surgery patient population
, playing a vital role in advancing quality outcomes, data integrity, and performance improvement initiatives.
You will join a highly experienced and collaborative Outcomes team and work closely with cardiac surgery providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in cardiac surgery or cardiology is strongly preferred.
Clinical Data & Outcomes Management- Review patient charts and abstract clinical data for internal and external reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely data submission to regulatory agencies and registries
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to improve documentation and outcomes
- Support data entry, queries, and analysis for departmental projects and reporting
- Partner with MD leadership to validate data accuracy and integrity
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registry definitions, requirements, and best practices
- Participate in registry education, meetings, and professional development
- Collaborate with Health Care Quality, Peer Review Committees, and Health Information Management
- Stay informed on evolving standards in cardiac surgery and outcomes measurement
- Serve as a clinical leader within the Outcomes team
- Work independently while contributing to team goals and deadlines
- Partner with physician champions and service line leaders to drive improvements
- Prepare and present benchmark and outcomes reports to leadership and performance improvement teams
- Identify negative trends and elevate to appropriate stakeholders
- Support research initiatives by collaborating with Clinical Research teams to analyze registry data
- Full-Time, 40-hours per week
- Monday–Friday, business hours with some flexibility
- Hybrid work: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Experience in cardiac surgery, cardiology, or cardiovascular care preferred
- Strong understanding of quality of care and outcomes measurement
- Experience with data abstraction, analysis, and reporting
- Comfort with presentations and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
