With roots in the Pioneer Valley since the 1980s, BOGG has grown to include over eighty‑five employees and four clinical sites in Hampden and Hampshire Counties (Springfield, Longmeadow, South Hadley, and Agawam). - Team includes experienced Obstetricians/Gynecologists, Gynecologists, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners.
- Full‑scope midwifery group values core fundamentals and provides dedicated midwifery services for patients choosing that model for pregnancy and routine gynecologic care.
- On‑site ultrasound staff in Springfield, Longmeadow, and Agawam provide rapid clinical turnaround with large viewing monitors.
- Advanced Practice Gyn Clinicians offer dedicated in‑office gynecologic care, including annual exams, birth control options, STI treatment, and common gynecologic problems.
- Approximately 25% of BOGG births occur at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield; BMC is a 716‑bed level one trauma center and a teaching site of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Qualifications
:
Previous experience as a full‑scope CNM, Master’s degree, graduate of an accredited nurse midwifery program, active CNM and prescriptive license (preferably in MA), active AMCB certification, CPR certification, and compliance with the Federal Drug Administration.
Skills required include complex problem solving using multiple resources, effective verbal and written communication, and proficiency with healthcare technology. The position requires office hours plus 24‑hour on‑call shifts, demanding long and irregular work hours.
Career Responsibilities
:
In accordance with established midwifery practice guidelines, provide full‑scope OB/GYN midwifery care to patients in office, inpatient, labor, delivery, and postpartum settings; communicate with on‑call physicians as needed; order and interpret diagnostic tests, write prescriptions and medication orders; collaborate with other providers and staff; document all care in an EMR system; respond promptly to staff inquiries; attend department and practice meetings.

Vaccination requirement:
