DEPARTMENT

DESCRIPTION:

S1400 is a 24‑bed acute care nursing unit that provides care to medical patients that may or may not require telemetry monitoring. This unit cares for a wide variety of medical issues, including Alzheimer’s/dementia, psych, sepsis or other advanced infections, fall/syncope, palliative/hospice, stroke, COVID‑19, cardiac diagnosis: atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, etc.

Our unit population consists of patients ages 20 to geriatric. In addition to inpatient status, the staff also monitors and cares for patients who have been placed in an observation or outpatient extended stay status.

SCHEDULE
  • Full‑Time, Days (7a‑7:30p)
  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience required
  • ADN required; BSN preferred

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training;education/certifications/licensure;and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full‑time commitment for exempt employees.
