Department DescriptionOur 72,000‑square‑foot ED is equipped with 94 private rooms, a separate pediatric ED, separate behavioral health rooms, and top‑of‑the‑line technology. We serve over 122,000 adult and pediatric patients annually and are the only Level1 trauma center and pediatric trauma center in the area. Providers are engaged in department processes and staff committees are set up to implement change and create dynamic teams that work well together.
Schedule& Location
Full‑time, 36hrs per week, 7PM–7:30AM, with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Unit:
Pediatric Emergency Department.
Location:
Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.

Qualifications- Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1year of registered nurse experience.
- Education:
ADN required; BSN preferred. - Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts.
Base pay range: $41.82 – $54.06 – $66.30. A new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries vary based on relevant experience and are determined on a full‑time commitment basis. Incentive payments may apply.
