Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Springfield

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence, is looking for inpatient Registered Nurses to join our team.

S1400 is a 24-bed acute care nursing unit that provides care to medical patients that may or may not require telemetry monitoring. The unit serves a wide variety of medical issues, including Alzheimer's/dementia, psychiatric, sepsis or other advanced infections, fall/syncope, palliative/hospice, stroke, COVID-19, cardiac diagnoses such as atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, among others. Patient ages range from 20 to geriatric.

In addition to inpatient status, staff also monitors and cares for patients in an observation or outpatient extended stay status.

• Part Time Day Shift - 7AM - 7:30PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday

Competitive shift differentials and allowance plans. Base hourly pay ranges from $41.82 to $66.30 (midpoint $54.06). Additional benefits and incentives may apply.

• Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Education:
  
  ADN required; BSN preferred
