Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for a high-acuity emergency care unit. The role requires managing diverse and critically ill patient populations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide acute nursing care to patients with complex medical and behavioral health needs.
• Monitor and manage unstable and critically ill patients, including ICU-level cases.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing mixed acuity cases, including trauma and emergency scenarios.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Massachusetts State Staffing License.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ED or ICU experience post-orientation.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong critical care skills and adaptability within a fast-paced setting.
• Be outside a 90-mile radius from the facility, with availability for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts.
• Show ability to manage complex, unstable patients effectively.
