American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neurosciences unit position requiring 2+ years of experience and annual NIHSS certification.

• Work in the D5A Neurosciences unit, a 37-bed neuro-acute department
• Care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions including stroke, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuro trauma
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• NOC shift, 7p-7:30a, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed to support hospital needs in lesser or like acuity areas

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• NIHSS certification required annually
• 5 stroke-based CEUs required annually
• 2+ years of RN experience required, neuroscience experience preferred

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a 5-time Magnet designated organization
• Join a team culture centered on safety, shared governance, and nursing autonomy
• Weekend requirement of 8 total essential weekend shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun) within a 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines.

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
