Our 28 bed Adult Psychiatric Treatment Unit (APTU) offers inpatient treatment for patients ages 18 and older with psychiatric disorders in a safe, secure setting, with working within a multidisciplinary team with advanced treatment modalities, act as an advocate for patients, families and significant others.  The
** Registered Nurse

** The Registered Nurse Will:
*** Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult patients experiencing psychiatric disorders in a secure 28-bed inpatient treatment unit.
* Assess patients’ physical and mental health needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and monitor treatment progress.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Advocate for patients, families, and significant others by promoting dignity, safety, informed decision-making, and continuity of care.
* Utilize advanced psychiatric treatment modalities and therapeutic nursing interventions to support patient stabilization and recovery.
* Participate in teamwork, problem-solving, and shared accountability initiatives to improve staff satisfaction, productivity, safety, and patient outcomes.
* Contribute professional expertise and clinical insight through participation in committees, councils, and task forces while maintaining nursing autonomy and accountability.## ##
