Are you passionate about nature, outdoor work, and keeping parks beautiful? The Town of Brookline Parks and Open Space Division is looking for motivated Seasonal Gardener/Laborers to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands‑on environment while contributing to the beautification and maintenance of our local parks, green spaces, and public grounds.
As a Seasonal Gardener/Laborer, you’ll perform a wide variety of tasks including:- Mowing lawns and fields to maintain clean, inviting spaces
- Raking, weeding, and hedge trimming for the perfect manicured look
- Cleaning restrooms to ensure the parks are welcoming for all visitors
- Laying mulch and removing invasive vegetation to help maintain ecological balance
- Improving trails and enhancing park features to support outdoor recreation
- Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers to beautify green spaces for the community
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather conditions
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and using hand and power tools
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work is a plus!
- Starting pay of $18.00 per hour
- Full-time seasonal positions with immediate openings
