This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Specialist located in the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Area. The position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control measures, conducting quality audits, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Additional responsibilities include overseeing quality processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards align with customer and industry requirements.
Qualifications- Strong background in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management
- Knowledge and experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Proficiency in conducting Quality Auditing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 certifications is a plus
- A degree in a related field or relevant professional certifications
