Server - FullTime​/Part Time

Server – Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing Springfield, MA

Full Time and Part Time Positions Available. Must have weekend and evening availability.

Summary

Description:

Under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor, the Server is responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for our residents and their guests. Follows established order and style of service while serving in the Main Dining Room and at special functions. Performs assigned side duties. Follows all safety and sanitation rules and regulations. Responsible for clearing dishes, bussing and resetting tables.

Maintains a clean, neat appearance.

• Demonstrates the ability to courteously serve all residents and their guests, and answer any dining related questions.
• Offers specials and completes the order by asking appropriate questions to the customer in order to make their meal complete.
• Maintains Dining Room and work areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times according to department standards as observed by random inspections.
• Handles all glassware and silverware in a safe and sanitary manner and resets table according to procedures.
• Assists other departmental staff with assigned duties and training with or without verbal requests. Performs duties in an independent manner with minimal need for direct supervision as observed by supervisor.
• Makes suggestions for improvement in food and service and participates in mandatory and regular meetings, provides input-feedback.
• Works harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure, collaborating with co-workers while remaining positive and respectful at all times. This includes delivering on resident and guest standards.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Previous customer service of at least 6 months.
