The Merchandiser role at M.S. Walker offers an ideal opportunity for anyone with retail experience interested in learning the wine and spirits industry, while gaining exposure to sales, operations and client relationship management. The position is full‑time and requires a strong communicator, an excellent work ethic, and a preference for a dynamic, traveling role.

• Regularly travel to meet accounts in territory to determine merchandising needs
• Meet delivery trucks of customer accounts to assist in unloading product
• Stock shelves with received M.S. Walker products
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• Place point‑of‑sale materials on merchandise items in store
• Originate display ideas or follow suggestions from the Merchandising Manager
• Construct or assemble prefabricated display properties from wood, fabric, glass, paper, and plastic
• Report to management regarding inventory levels, marketing and sales trends, and customer feedback
• Other duties as assigned

• Motivation, independence, and eagerness to learn
• Demonstrated strong decision‑making, customer service and relationship management skills
• Experience with retail operations and visual displays preferred
• Knowledge of wine and spirits helpful
• Ability to lift and move product of up to 45 lbs regularly
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Frequent driving within assigned territory required
• Eligible for incentive earnings
