Responsible for supporting an exceptional member shopping experience by processing and sorting damaged or defective and/or returned merchandise, reducing salvage, obtaining return authorizations from vendors and re‑wrapping sellable merchandise.

• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.
• See the connection between consistent execution and the positive impact it can have on the business.

• Work with speed and accuracy to facilitate organized processes. Accurately process damaged or defective merchandise by following appropriate salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistic, hazardous waste and destroy procedures.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process vendor chargebacks, and package and ship merchandise returns based on vendor return policies.
• Maintain the correct stock/inventory status for all damaged, defective and returned merchandise.
• Assess breakage logs associated with leaking, spoiled and broken merchandise and process merchandise out of inventory. Process freezer and dairy damages.
• Understand the company’s community/donation programs and administer salvage and donation merchandise orders.
• Conduct daily club safety walks, escalating findings to Asset Protection Supervisor.
• Support Inventory Control Count Team in executing count processing as assigned.
