The Role

Elastic’s Professional Services team delivers solutions across all of our technologies. As a Services Account Executive, you will own the customer's Services journey from pre‑sales to launch, building trusted relationships with C‑level sponsors. You will focus on large strategic market segments and collaborate closely with Sales, Pre‑Sales, VP’s of Sales, and the Services team.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Complete Elastic training and become an authority in our consulting methodologies.
  • Evangelise Elastic’s ability to deliver business outcomes to customers.
  • Apply industry expertise to understand a customer's motivations, drivers, strategic goals, and desired outcomes.
  • Engage customers, especially C‑Level, using a consultative selling approach that positions Elastic and yourself as a long‑term Trusted Advisor.
  • Create a compelling vision and communicate our transformative solutions to generate significant value from the Elastic Stack investment.
  • Exceed growth and booking targets, ensure organisational health, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and lead a territory plan and a personalized account plan for each customer that aligns with their business goals.
  • Forecast accurately and build a pipeline to deliver year‑over‑year growth.
  • Build relationships with Sales, Customer Success, and partner organizations; operate in a co‑sell model.
  • Mentor and help hire new Services Sales Partners.
  • Contribute to enhancing our delivery methodology, services practice, and industry point‑of‑view.
What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience with a record of exceeding quota.
  • 5+ years selling or delivering professional services for a strategic consulting firm, large system integrator, or software company services unit.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain C‑level relationships as a Trusted Advisor.
  • Experience growing accounts with large, complex pursuits ($M+).
  • Highly collaborative, thriving in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience creating outstanding responses to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Project/account management experience.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation

Base salary plus a variable component comprise the On‑Target Earnings (OTE) with an 80/20 pay mix. Typical OTE ranges for new hires: $165,800 – $262,300 USD. Salaries and variable ranges are $149,300–$236,100 USD and $16,500–$26,200 USD, respectively. Eligibility for Elastic’s stock program and a company‑matched 401(k) with dollar‑for‑dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings are included.
