Foot & Ankle Sales Associate

The Foot & Ankle Sales Associate partners closely with Sales Representative(s) to quickly learn the medical device industry and Foot & Ankle business, and then contribute to the growth of that business in the assigned territory. Responsibilities include partnering with the Sales Rep(s) for all aspects of the sales call pattern, covering cases in the assigned territory, marketing and promotion of products, building sets, managing inventory, and, as skills develop, beginning to convert customers to Stryker.

Attend surgeries using Stryker Foot & Ankle products to ensure all items are available and to instruct surgeons on proper use and functionality. Educate doctors, nurses, and relevant staff on product use, maintenance, updates, and educational programs. Contact customers to identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and further develop relationships. Identify needs of new prospects, tailor Stryker’s promotional message based on customer knowledge, advise on appropriate product selection, answer questions about functionality, and distinguish Stryker products from competitors.

Perform field calls for the account(s) and assigned territory. Assist in implementation of new sales plans and marketing strategies to competitively position the organization. Partner with the Sales Representative and organization to meet and exceed business targets (quotas). Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representative(s), maintain regulatory compliance, and resolve any account issues. Manage inventory, build proper inventory levels, acquire and process Customer Purchase Orders for invoicing, and maintain sales and product training.

Travel Percentage: 70%

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) with at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma with at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service
• Expected salary: $65,000 – $75,000, with potential commission and/or bonuses, plus benefits
