Job Summary

Sell Comcast Internet, data, video and voice services to small and mid‑size businesses focusing mainly on advanced communications solutions, including PRI, Hosted PBX and multi‑location opportunities. Provide face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of Comcast products and services. Promote bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer. Surpass departmental financial and unit targets. Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.

Responsibilities
  • Develop territory, including local business partnerships, organizational affiliations, and enhance Comcast positioning and brand.
  • Maintain quality sales records and prepare sales and activity reports.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support a positive impression of the Comcast experience.
  • Acquire new business by selling Comcast Commercial Internet, video and voice services to small and mid‑size businesses.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities (cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, partner relationships).
  • Focus on advanced communications solutions (PRI, Hosted PBX, multi‑location).
  • Identify improvement areas through a consultative process to enhance prospects’ communication effectiveness.
  • Effectively manage a territory with high activity and a comprehensive business plan.
  • Collaborate with technical, customer service and support staff to ensure end‑to‑end customer sales and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet or exceed monthly quota performance.
  • Remain knowledgeable of Comcast products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and business quality objectives.
  • Adhere to company standards and business professionalism and maintain punctual, regular attendance.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred; some combination of coursework and experience may also be considered.
  • Certifications:

    (if applicable).
  • Relevant work experience: 5‑7 years of sales experience, preferably in Comcast or related business services.
  • Skills:

    Adaptability, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, customer‑focused, persuasion, professional integrity, resilience, technical knowledge, workplace organization.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay: $53,000.00 per year.
  • Total target compensation (base pay plus targeted commission): $ per year.
  • Comcast offers a commission program for sales positions and a bonus program for non‑sales positions. Employees are eligible for best‑in‑class benefits.
