Position: Sr Enterprise Account Executive - Video Security (Energy Vertical)

Job Description

The Senior Enterprise Account Executive – Energy (North America) reports to the Senior Director of Vertical Sales and is responsible for creating and winning enterprise business with energy customers, driving strategic sales opportunities in the energy vertical marketplace.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and execute a comprehensive business plan for strategic energy accounts.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to create and maintain a strategic account plan, identifying key players for each assigned account.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue forecasts.
  • Create and execute targeted marketing plans, including campaigns, trade‑show events, sales tools, web resources, social media and customer interactions as approved.
  • Develop and maintain deep, meaningful relationships with security and surveillance stakeholders, including trade associations and affinity groups.
  • Collaborate with North American Sales Team to identify key partners, integrators and customers, providing resources to engage effectively and differentiate Motorola Solutions.
  • Identify trade‑association partnerships, new business plans, and creative market approaches to maximize impact.
  • Highlight product gaps for Product Management to gain greater exposure and standardization with customers.
  • Prepare regular reports for management and Product Management on gaps and fiscal impact.
  • Schedule regular engagements with key stakeholders (Lunch & Learn, webinars, on‑site meetings/demos) and attend trade‑shows.
  • Manage business‑unit resources, including solution engineers, inside sales, demo equipment, marketing budgets, and travel budgets.
  • Develop standardized vertical‑market presentations and sales tools for the North American Sales Team.
  • Build effective relationships with internal sales departments and partner managers.
  • Compile competitive product and pricing data and report it back to head office.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, video or security, selling physical security ecosystem components (video, access control, command‑center software).
  • Prior background in the energy infrastructure sector (electric, oil & gas) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Motorola Solutions’ go‑to‑market strategy and sales philosophy.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue results and developing collaborative relationships.
  • Accurate forecasting skills – monthly, quarterly, yearly, and weekly.
  • Technical acumen and ability to discuss Motorola Solutions products and solutions.
  • Excellent time‑management, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with channel strategies and initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across North America.
Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, video or security.
  • Travel >50% of the time.
Travel

Approximately 60% travel by air and car throughout North America.

Compensation

Base salary range: $110,000 – $120,000 USD. Pay may vary based on knowledge, skills and experience.
