Imagine being directly responsible for helping the nation grow, to BUILD. Rockland Manufacturing, a well‑known, respected, family‑owned construction equipment manufacturer with an excellent reputation for quality and on‑time shipments, is looking for a Territory Manager to cover the Greater New England area, New York and New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the hustle, discipline, and relationship‑building ability to grow a territory by getting in front of customers, executing a plan, and following through.

What

You’ll Be Doing:
  • Generating quote activity through consistent dealer branch visits
  • Conducting approximately 14 in‑person sales calls per week
  • Building strong relationships with branch managers, service managers, salespeople, and other key decision makers
  • Identifying barriers to growth and helping close the quote gap
  • Conducting dealer branch sales training
  • Managing quote volume and sales pipeline activity
  • Maintaining accurate and current contact information for target dealer locations
  • Creating and executing effective route plans
  • Executing Rockland’s sales process with consistency and discipline
  • Learning Rockland products, applications, programs, and offers through ongoing self‑study
Requirements

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Strong ability to build relationships quickly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
  • High level of hustle, activity, and personal accountability
  • Ability to execute a plan with minimal direct supervision
  • Comfortable with significant (75%) overnight travel
  • CRM experience and strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Experience:
  • B2B sales experience
  • Construction equipment, heavy equipment, or mechanical aptitude
  • Experience selling through dealers, distributors, or branch‑based organizations
  • Epicor CRM experience
