Position Summary
Account Managers are tasked with generating new revenue and growing market share for Byram Healthcare covering Wound Care, Urology, Ostomy, Incontinence, and Diabetes within a defined geographical territory. They are responsible for providing high quality service to providers and customers to enable the efficient and profitable operation of Byram.
The base salary range is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with an uncapped commission structure. This is dependent on level, years of experience, and geographic location.
Essential Job Functions- Metrics and performance are expected to be at 100 % to quota in new revenue goals while also achieving year‑over‑year market growth.
- Conduct an average of 8‑10 sales calls daily; field‑based calls should be pre‑scheduled as often as possible.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of new accounts and conduct meaningful sales calls with each referral by building relationships, uncovering needs, creating solutions, and asking for business. Pre‑ and post‑call reviews are also required.
- Log all activity for every sales call in Salesforce daily, including details such as person spoken to, office location, contact information, items discussed, products or services presented, competitive information, required action, and next sales call date.
- Focus core business activities within a territory’s top accounts, focusing on Quarterly Business Accounts. Every account must be qualified and effectively positioned with Byram’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with Byram’s manufacturing partners in the field to generate leads and new opportunities.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Compliance Program to ensure all legal and ethical requirements and regulations are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Operations, Reimbursement, and Managed Care to develop and execute pull‑through initiatives for all referral sources within the defined territory.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on Byram services, products, and managed‑care contracts; articulate and educate this information to healthcare professionals or referral sources.
- Develop and maintain up‑to‑date Territory Business Plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- 3‑5 years of sales experience, healthcare and/or service sales preferred.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle private and confidential information securely.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the defined geographical region.
- Ability to travel up to 90 % of the time.
