Cardinal Health is seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Onsite Core Account Manager to join our Medical Segment team. As an Onsite Core Account Manager, you will serve as the primary operational contact for a key client, ensuring seamless service delivery, fostering strong relationships, and driving operational excellence.
Territory:
Candidate should ideally be located in Cape Cod and be onsite in Hyannis 4+ days a week.
- Serve as the primary onsite operational contact for an assigned prime vendor account, building and maintaining strong working relationships with key client stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Act as a direct liaison between the client and various Cardinal Health internal teams (Customer Service, Field Service, Distribution) to ensure timely product availability, resolve issues, and manage any price discrepancies.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, developing and executing plans to introduce innovative solutions that meet both customer and Cardinal Health objectives.
- Influence account profitability through strategic account management and value‑driven solutions.
- Support day‑to‑day product and logistics issues within the client’s operations.
- Drive operational effectiveness and efficiency within the assigned account, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Cardinal Health programs and contractual agreements, maximizing partnership value.
- Contribute to account profitability by ensuring efficient operations and identifying value‑add opportunities.
- Apply knowledge of Cardinal Health’s offerings and the client’s industry to support delivery of tailored solutions.
- Identify and address internal and external needs for the assigned account, with guidance from leadership as needed.
- Identify and elevate potential new sales opportunities or solution needs to the appropriate sales teams.
- Provide regular updates on key account metrics, operational status, and project progress to both the client and Cardinal Health management.
- Support contract adherence and identify opportunities for product mix optimization within the assigned account.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (preferred).
- 1‑3 years of experience in account management, customer service, operations, or a related client‑facing role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to establish and nurture strong, trusted working relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and operational processes.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and facilitate timely solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player who can coordinate with various internal departments to achieve client objectives.
- Customer‑focus: commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Must be available for daily onsite presence at the client facility; customer/vendor credentialing (including vaccinations, if required) may be required.
