Location: Springfield, MA- Hybrid Office/Remote This is a hybrid role combining new business development with ongoing account management. The right person will be comfortable prospecting, leading client conversations, and negotiating agreements while also maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts. We are looking for someone who wants to build a sustainable book of business and take ownership of client growth over time. Responsibilities:
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities
- Conduct outbound outreach (phone, email, Linked In, and in-person meetings)
- Lead discovery meetings to understand hiring needs
- Present contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
- Negotiate rates, service terms, and agreements
- Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Maintain regular communication and performance check-ins
- Identify additional hiring needs and expansion opportunities
- Coordinate closely with recruiting to ensure quality delivery
- Support contract extensions and conversions
- Market Engagement
- Build a strong presence within a business community
- Develop referral partnerships and maintain professional networks
- Travel within the region for client meetings as needed
- Staffing industry experience, specifically within IT and professional services, is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with strong relationship-based sales backgrounds will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, staffing, or professional services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing pricing, contracts, and margins
- Organized and self-directed with solid follow-through
- Ability to balance prospecting activity with account oversight
- Supportive team environment
