This role involves operating directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring the accurate installation of underground utilities. It requires a valid CDL and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate directional boring equipment for underground utility installations
  • Support foremen and supervisors with daily tasks and project execution
  • Operate heavy equipment including trenchers, plows, backhoes, and skid steers (Bobcats)
  • Use hand and power tools such as tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws as needed
  • Work alongside field crews to assist with the completion of construction activities

Skills & Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, including physical and drug screening requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of underground utility installations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and work orders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and follow instructions
  • Flexibility to travel as needed is a plus
