Service Technician – Cleaning Equipment Industry Leader
$25-$30 per hour depending on experience. Company vehicle provided and excellent benefits.
A bit about usWe are a growing Jan/San distributor specializing in commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to repair, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on battery-powered cleaning equipment.
This role is primarily local field service, with 90% of work within a 40-mile radius of Springfield. You will be supported with the right tools, vehicle, and resources to do the job efficiently.

- Diagnose, repair, and service battery-powered commercial cleaning equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Test equipment to ensure proper operation after service
- Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
- Follow safety procedures and company service standards
- Battery-powered floor scrubbers and sweepers
- Commercial cleaning equipment and related systems
- Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience servicing battery-powered or motorized equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset
- Basic computer or mobile device skills for service documentation
