We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator who will receive paid training and work safety‑first while operating heavy equipment and assisting with general labor. The role reports to a Foreman and involves working on job sites across North America.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grader, hydro‑excavator, track hoe and more safely.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Perform daily pre‑shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Maintain regular maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain all required operator qualifications.
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 1+ year experience safely operating equipment in close proximity to workers and underground utilities.
- Join the largest natural gas distribution contractor in the United States.

- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; fluency in English is required.
- Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, feeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment.
- Safety requires quick/accurate hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
- Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
- Provide valid U.S. work authorization documents for U‑Verify.
- Achieve satisfactory results on pre‑employment background checks.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Pass pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card.
- Join and maintain Union membership.
