Your ImpactWe are seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast-paced role is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the telecom industry.
LocationCandidates should reside in the Springfield, Massachusetts area.
Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems—diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Will be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). pay ranges from $27.00 to $38.00, DOE. In addition to base wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.Benefits
