Fire Extinguisher Technician Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician for our Fire Protection business. Responsibilities include servicing, repairing and maintaining portable fire equipment and emergency exit lighting systems for our customer base after completing our training program. This role also involves system testing and inspections, identifying code and non‑conformance issues, and selling additional products and services to support growth.

Required:

• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fire licenses may be required based on state or local regulations

Annual total compensation ranges between $45,000–$90,000, based on base salary plus earned commissions. The range reflects skill sets, experience, performance and other business factors. Geographic differentials are not included in this disclosed range.
