About the RoleHampden HVAC is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead HVAC Service Technician to take the lead on service calls and field operations. This hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned technician ready to step into a leadership position, mentor junior techs, and ensure top-tier service delivery for residential and light commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems
- Lead service calls and coordinate on-site activities
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring professional communication and service
- Support and train junior technicians as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation using mobile tools
- Adhere to safety standards and client contract requirements
- 5+ years of professional HVAC service experience
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check (required by client contracts)
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience supervising or mentoring field staff
- Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile dispatch apps
