At PEARCE, we offer a career opportunity for experienced HVAC Technicians in telecom shelters on cell tower sites.
Your ImpactThis fast‑paced role is ideal for self‑directed, highly motivated individuals ready to travel and grow within the telecom industry. It is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Hadley, Massachusetts area.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

- Must reside in the Hadley, Massachusetts area.
- Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
