The HVAC Maintenance Worker is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Job responsibilities include installing, inspecting, testing, operating, and repairing all refrigeration and related equipment for preserving food, making ice, cooling water, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation. The position also requires calibrating, repairing, and maintaining all pneumatic control systems and related equipment, checking, servicing, cleaning, and replacing filters in all A/C air handling and heating units, and cleaning and maintaining grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.

The worker must understand and demonstrate knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinate work between/with other trades. Preventative maintenance as scheduled and records keeping are also part of the role. Emergency repair/maintenance situations are to be responded to as required, and a critical inventory needed to keep operations running must be maintained and accounted for. Tools used must be maintained and accounted for as well.

A friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers is expected. The role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $31.26. Aramark offers comprehensive benefit programs and services for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, and work/life resources. Qualifications:

HVAC certification is preferred. Previous HVAC experience is required. Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. The ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks is essential. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
