Provides routine and ad-hoc installation, service and consultation on all beverage equipment, including bar guns, juice machines, fountain heads, coffee machines, espresso units, bubblers, smoothie and soft‑serve equipment. Works closely with sales for onsite surveys and record keeping, including contracts, work orders and service logs. The technician also performs preventative maintenance on equipment in the field and participates in a rotating on‑call schedule with other technicians to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and service.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm; on‑call every third weekend. This position will service CT, RI, Western MA, and Cape area. Typical week is 50 hrs including drive time. Must have a valid driver’s license and will be assigned a company van.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install new and replacement beverage equipment for new and existing customers.
  • Provide routine and ad‑hoc maintenance, repair, cleaning, and sanitation of beverage equipment for assigned customers.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of all beverage equipment parts – responsible for tracking, maintaining, and ordering inventory.
  • Partner with customers and sales associates to ensure US Foods products are utilized in beverage equipment.

Relationships
  • Internal:
    Works closely with sales and operations.
  • External:
    Works closely with vendors and customers.
Work Environment
  • Onsite:
    Perform responsibilities inside a US Foods office‑based environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of experience installing and servicing commercial beverage equipment.
  • Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, unsupervised environment.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker.
  • Must have a good driving record.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Qualifications
  • Required to lift a minimum of 60 lb.
  • Must perform standing, walking, driving continuously, sitting occasionally, and lifting 1–10 lb continuously; lifting 11–20 lb continuously; lifting 21–50 lb frequently; lifting 51–100 lb frequently; lifting over 100 lb occasionally, as well as carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing/balancing, stooping/squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching above shoulder, twisting, grasping, manipulating objects, and manual dexterity.

Compensation depends on relevant experience, education, specific skills, function, location, and applicable law. The expected base rate for this role ranges from $23.12 to $30.00 per hour.
