The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Therapeutic Mentors (TM) to join our In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring program for our West Springfield location. Your role as a Therapeutic Mentor (TM) is to provide structured one-to-one skill building for youth (age 0-20), including supporting, coaching, and training in areas such as interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

• Work toward achieving the goals set forth in the Outpatient, In-Home Therapy, or ICC treatment/care plan.
• Collaborate with the team weekly, document work using an electronic medical record, and submit timely progress notes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Travel required, mileage reimbursement offered.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Bachelor’s or better in Psychology or related field.

• Effectively build rapport with youth and family, actively engage them in the treatment plan, provide consistent support in their natural environment, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and effectively translate clinical goals into practical, real‑life strategies while maintaining close collaboration with the clinical team and respecting the family’s cultural context.
• Flexible availability to meet the scheduling needs of those served.
