Java Web Developer

Duration: 12 months

Seeking an experienced Java/Web Engineer Consultant with strong technical expertise in AWS technologies. You will play a key role in a high-priority upgrade and conversion project, contributing immediately upon onboarding. You will work closely with the IT Development team and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery.

• Enhance existing applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
• Interact with Oracle databases using SQL and PL/SQL
• Develop new front-end pages with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and AJAX
• Enhance existing front ends using Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS and AJAX
• Write thorough, correct unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
• Deploy code using Jenkins
• Interact with end users to determine requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar; 5+ years of experience in excess of education
• Strong proficiency in Java 17/21
• Strong proficiency in Spring MVC
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Experience building front ends using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and AJAX
• Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito
• Independent worker able to clear their own blocks

• Experience with PL/SQL skills
