Co-op, Software Full Stack Engineer

• Process and generate analytics from structured and unstructured datasets

• Develop enterprise applications and data solutions for investment management

• Build a platform for alternative data

• Develop custom data pipelines to extract, map, transform, and load data into data stores

• Extract data from REST APIs and parallel process large datasets

• Deploy and manage applications in the AWS cloud

• Prototype ideas and rapidly deploy solutions to users

• Integrate solutions with enterprise applications

• Collaborate with investment professionals, business partners, application developers, database engineers, data scientists, and quantitative tool prototypers

• Support Asset Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions with scalable investment tools

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required
• 1+ years experience of enterprise development
• Desire to work on a fast paced development team and experience handling multiple tracks concurrently
• Strong background with object oriented programming using technologies such as Python, Java, or C#
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Knowledge of AWS cloud computing concepts
• Experience deploying and managing applications in the cloud using CI/CD tools such as Git and Stash
• Strong experience in Python and libraries such as Pandas/Numpy or Spark
• Knowledge of developing custom data pipelines
• Familiarity with extracting data from REST APIs and parallel processing large datasets
• Knowledge of RDBMS and ODBC
• Knowledge of Angular 2.0+, React, or other MVC frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD tools such as Git/Stash and Jenkins

Demonstrates expertise in developing enterprise applications and data solutions, with a strong focus on data pipeline creation, cloud deployment, and collaboration with investment professionals. Proficient in object-oriented programming and analytics from diverse datasets.
